OUTREACH
AJC is actively engaged in the domestic and international scene as a GLOBAL JEWISH ADVOCACY organization.
Randy Czarlinsky met with Jerusalem based MEDIA LINE editors who were in Houston this week.
Consular corps delegation chairs Allan Van Fleet and Helene Zadok have reached out to the Consulates of Indonesia, India and Germany for delegation meetings.
Tonight begins Chanukah, the festival of lights, which celebrates
the miraculous military victory of the small Jewish army (Maccabees) over the ruling Greek Syrians, who had banned the Jewish religion and desecrated the Temple; and the miracle of the small cruse of consecrated oil, which burned for eight days in the Temple's menorah instead of just one. HAPPY CHANUKAH.
Best regards,
