Int'l Holocaust Observance next Wednesday at HMH
AJC Houston and Holocaust Museum Houston team up next week to present the AJC Houston's third annual International Holocaust Remembrance Day on Jan. 27.  The observance, created five years ago by the UN, is for diplomats around the globe to commemorate the victims.  Co-chaired by Iris Mushin and Helene Zadok, AJC has initiated the recognition of a diplomat who rescued Jews during WWII at the observance.  Dr. Ho Feng-Shan, the Chinese Consul General in Vienna, rescued Jews by issuing visas for Shanghai against his superiors' orders.  St. John's Kantorei chamber choir will perform and seniors from The Emery/Weiner School will lay stones in the Eric Alexander Memorial Garden along with the diplomats.
