As "Israel Apartheid" Week begins, AJC's Z Word blog has prepared a list of resources to combat the slander that Israel is an apartheid state.
AJC Houston Bridging America task force works on declaration of principles
In its third and final official discussion, the immigration task force roundtable participants met earlier this week. The program, underwritten with a grant from the Ford Foundation, brought together leaders and community members from Houston's business, faith, ethnic, education and law enforcement arenas to discuss the challenges and priorities of immigration reform for the first time.
The task force is working on a declaration of principles and action plan.
