AJC Condemns Moscow Subway Bombings, Mourns Victims
AJC condemned the suicide bombings that claimed at least 38 lives in the Moscow subway system this morning.
"Our sympathy is with the victims of this odious act of terrorism," said AJC Executive Director David Harris. "We express our profound condolences to the victims' families and to the Russian people."
Harris said, "Yet again, we observe the terrible scene of ordinary people setting out for work, only to have their lives devastated. We've seen these horrors in New York, London, Madrid, Jerusalem and now Moscow. No one is immune from suicide terrorism, and the struggle to defeat it is a global responsibility."
