American, foreign diplomats pledge support for Israel, toughness on Iran
Twelve AJC Houston members returned last Friday from an outstanding AJC National Annual Meeting. Besides the headliners (Secretary Hillary Clinton, Defense Minister Ehud Barak, Ambassador Michael Oren), discussions ranged from the current status of the Jewish community in Turkey to how can we fight Iran's nuclear ambitions on the local level, to using New Media to reach the next generation. Houston members also lunched with Members of Congress John Culberson, Gene Green, Pete Olson and Ted Poe and participated in small private dinners with diplomats. Look below for the links to re-live the experience or to find out what you missed. In fact, it's not too early to sign up for the 2011 meeting!
